Workshop Objectives

When your company participates in our professional workshop that is designed to foster belonging for all, participants will:

Program Outline

This interactive workshop will empower participants to build a more inclusive and supportive workplace by exploring key concepts around disability, language, and respectful engagement. Through practical exercises and thoughtful discussions, participants will:

  • Gain a deep understanding of what a safe space is and how to create one both in and outside of the workplace to foster inclusivity and respect.

  • Learn the correct terminology and vocabulary around disability to communicate with sensitivity and accuracy.

  • Explore the critical importance of permission when engaging with people with disabilities, ensuring that all interactions are respectful and empowering.

  • Develop strategies for discussing disability in a professional environment, whether with co-workers, clients, or stakeholders, promoting open dialogue and mutual respect.
